No need to be nervous! Our service plan is easy to understand. We offer a seasonal or year-round, contract-free mat rental service. If you are unhappy with our service, you can settle up and send us on our way at any time. After 40-years of operation, we’ve learned that the best customer retention tool is simply to have the best customer service. No contract needed.

Rain, sleet, or snow, you depend on us to deliver the goods. Our service is built on reliability. If we don’t deliver it, you don’t pay for it.

We operate our business fairly. We strive to give our customers excellent service and a fair value for their money, while balancing the needs of our employees. Newmarket Mat Rentals was started in 1983 as an addition to our family-owned janitorial company. With ingenuity and a homebuilt washing machine, John VanLeeuwen began delivering mats to customers in York Region. The focus has always been on delivering a simple, reliable and fair service, provided by a local company.
Through word of mouth, the company grew and became viable, so he could close Dutch Clean Janitorial and focus solely on providing the best mat rental service in the area. With all fingers intact, our equipment was upgraded to a modern washer and dryer in the 90’s which enabled us to grow further and in 1999 acquire the mat rental division of Aurora, Ontario based Belair Maintenance.
In 2022 having weathered the effects of Covid, we were able to move into our new modern wash-plant in Bradford, Ontario. This has offered the opportunity to install new high efficiency laundry equipment and increase our quality further.
Through cheerful service, and quality product, our company has grown. Family has played an important part in the growth and success of Newmarket Mat Rentals (NMR). Now in our 40th year of operation, our second-generation is carrying on our pledge to provide a simple, reliable and fair mat service.
